Privacy Policy - TETHER

TETHER ("the app", "we", "us") is a single-player precision-dodge game. This policy explains what data the app handles and which third-party services it may use.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device only:

• Story / Survival / Daily progress, best scores, and unlocked chapters.
• Settings and preferences (e.g. haptics).
• Premium purchase status recorded after a successful in-app purchase.

Uninstalling the app removes this local data (cloud-saved data, if you used Google Play Games, is retained by Google - see below).

Advertising (Google AdMob) & consent

Where enabled, TETHER may show ads served by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). When an ad is requested, Google may collect and process your device's advertising identifier (AAID), IP address, and general device information to serve and measure ads, which requires Internet access. If ads are not shown - or you buy Premium - no ad request is made.

For users in the European Economic Area and the UK, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form before any personalized ads are shown, in line with GDPR requirements.

Google Play Games Services (optional)

If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games Services, TETHER uses it for leaderboards and cloud save. In that case Google associates your gameplay (scores and saved progress) with your Play Games profile, governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Sign-in is optional - the game is fully playable without it, and if you do not sign in, no gameplay data is sent to Google Play Games. You can manage or delete Play Games data via your Google account.

In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

TETHER offers an optional Premium purchase (removing ads and unlocking premium chapters, Survival, and Daily modes). Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. The app queries Google Play only for your purchase status for this app. Google's handling of purchases is covered by the Google Play Terms of Service.

Children

TETHER is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because ads may be served and sign-in is available, the app is intended for general audiences.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
